So I went to the Days on Campus yesterday at Columbia to visit with a lot of other incoming students. It was amazing. It's gorgeous (even though I already knew that), and everything they said about the curriculum and atmosphere sounded amazing. The people who signed in the hundreds of people, even knew all about me as soon as I said my name. I walked in and said I was Melissa Taylor, and they were like "Oh, our published scientist" and they said my interviewer was asking about me and wondering if I had put my deposit down yet. Another person did the same thing later when my dad was talking about me to her. I was so excited. I felt so special. lol Then they gave me stuff.
Everyone's pretty nerdy, but thats ok, i'll deal. They're smart and I'll just be more social than them. I met a few cool people. I ditched my dad to look at dorm rooms, haha, for like 2 hours. I actually found someone somewhat interesting so I just never went back to check with my dad. I picked my dorm and opted not to go with the singles. I'd be lonely... haa. I AM SOOO EXCITED!
When I left I just looked at my dad and was like, "This school was made for me"
